I didn't like this guy when he was on idol, thought he was just another fringe-flicking teen bopper. And now i've started to notice his new stuff, and something about me didn't want to like it; But after hearing him play my favourite song better than any other cover on youtube, i can't help but admit, this guy's bloody good. (This is my first ever youtube comment, so he must be)

I am a huge Jeff Buckley fan, and this in my opinion, is the greatest song that has even been written. It is also a song in which I believed should never be covered. I now take back that statement.... this rendition is absolutely stunning - I am moved almost the same way as what I was when I was lucky enough to see Buckley perform this live.
So glad to have stumbled arcoss this video after watching another brilliant live performance of BROTHER. You have won me over!!!

Holy shit, you actually can't really beat this song for emotion. And no one will ever be able to do this song better than Buckley himself but Matt's done a pretty fine job I must say.

We all know there will NEVER be another Jeff........but this is a cracking version. I am a singer and would love to have such a natural voice like this......so fortunate.

I still like the Jeff Buckley version much better, but Buckley was a rare talent so no shame in being second best.
