This video was take during "Friendship Day" during her last week of preschool. Leah's music teacher was Russian and taught this to the kids. Leah learned it along with everyone else as she has no memory of Russian (adopted at age 3).
The song goes:
May there always be sunshine,
May there always be blue skies,
May there always be Mamma,
May there always be me.
I thought the words were particularly poignant considering her backround. I was the only "Mamma" with tears in her eyes... This one's for you Dr. Pavlov.
(Leah is sitting to the right wearing a
yellow paper skirt. She has short hair with bangs.)
