You know it's a GREAT song when it puts a smile on your face. I have so many great memories associated with this song, and so many other Richard Marx songs.
Brings me back to a time when things were so much simpler, and fresh. I love songs I can just lose myself in. This is one of them. Just don't get that feeling from today's "music".

man i love the 80s nothing compares man i mean when you listen to this as well most 80s songs you can hear the passion in the singers voice the way they sang the the emotion of it u can tell they did it jus for the pleasure of the music .unlike the 90s and the millenium when artists are pumping out songs after song putting crummy lyrics together simply to earn a pay check and face time on tv you telling that atrosity lady gaga gives a damn about her music or jus being the center of attention

Remember when I left? I had no choice but to go? But now I have a choice and I choose you.....
@Stealthkeys77 It was such a carefree time. I remember the music was great, life was easy. No parental advisory to buy a record/tape/cd. To have it again, just for a day would be so great.

I forgot to mention... This was just music then. No MTV or maybe when MTV was an infant. The video didnt exist, only the music. I still believe music was better before the video. Yes, rants of an old fart who still remembers. Look up the song "video killed the radio star". It's true.
