Don't the Chinese who practice "traditional medicine" realize that if they continue to persecute these rare animals, then there will be no more "medicine" soon?

It's not fair that we will lose so many important and beautiful creatures for no reason other than "tradition"

@matthew87739 White people make medicine out of oil and chemicals, not out of exotic endangered animals. Also, white people are by far the lowest in population on earth, requiring less food and medicine than say chinese... the chinese (and indians) definitely need a medicine invented by whites: the pill or condoms. Not being racist, just saying the thruth

@Yuektawekai it's a pity for Russia, and those kinds of things happend in China also, maybe worse! some people did that in they own land..that's terrible. So don't put this problems on the Nationalism or a nation ,but it's our humans problems. the environment organization or other organization/also the government need do something for protect the nature. But unfortunetly people are very short sight, don't care about the sustainability of our living environment.

@Yuektawekai I think using tiger bone/and what ever those animals organ to make madicine is 90% of fancy imagination, that's part of Superstition which stay on the tradition culture, and it's definitely lack of education and no moral conscious, even if China have very brillant history and culture before, but the modern time is not mean that people are more civilized , still lots of low educated people ,and those who just thinking about money , making bad things for the nature.

@householdscientist I agree with you completely I love Chinese culture and your ancient wisdom, your people gave so many things to the world that it would be a never ending task to mention it all. The problem is lack of education I think..but it's rare because you have things that really work like acupuncture and herbal remedies that are extremely effective.. Perhaps using tiger bones is just the fancy of an elite? Is a case of conservatism? There must be a way out..working together!!
