Cheney/ Bush, increased the deficit with unfunded "tax cuts" while putting 3 unfunded wars OFF BUDGET. Iraq, Afpak & the War on Terror were all listed off budget. Quite a trick. Makes your budget look good even with TARP & the next president look terrible with TARP & 3 wars in the hole before taking office. THEN, you label the next president a socialist for trying to deal with resulting unempl'mt. If he does nothing call him a heartless cruel tyrant & impeach him They'll try that anyway

Real Estate taxes will go through the roof. Keep stocking up for the long-term. Food costs will double in 2010/11. The next 20 years will be a time of tight belts, but we'll be happier. We've all seen Disney...been there done that...so my summers will be in the backyard garden...my private paradise.

Just started reading the book. Great concepts. Sad that we're trapped in time at this point. Hence the current push to main stream survivalism. Cubicle dwellers filling their basements with bug out bags, one year food supplies, guns and ammo. That all adds up to distrust of the govt, businesses and institutions. We are really over due for a back to reality time. Great time to keep buying silver and stay out of market. Hey, silver...avoid taxes generationally! Sheltering in will be norm.
