HiLARIOUS!!

@Brandon112878 actually, I think the funniest thing about her is that her song choices, clothing, and pretentious enunciation are about as white trash American as you can get. and when you say American humour is safe and contrived, can you name some current examples?
-
Absolutely sublime. I can't imagine a more bizarre burlesque act--and one which challenges normal American humour, which is safe and contrived. But, then, she is from Seattle, which isn't very American.
-
@reggie583 So you can only imagine one of her old, home-grown, small-town Seattle concerts. The size of a tiny cabaret. Everybody drunk with anticipation. And she arrives, eyes aglow with childlike wonder, from behind a curtain. Absolute magic.

This is the first time I've ever seen her and I LOVE HER.

I just saw her show at the Soho Theatre in London. Everyone was on the floor! She was so sharp and so fast, the jokes were large and small and just kept coming at us! "Off the charts!" "He is risen!"
-
I just saw her here in our hometown in the Pac Northwest. She is a gift from above and really knows how to charm her audience from the stage (and anyone who has seen her knows how that's pronounced)

Seeing Dina Martina, especially her Christmas show, is an unbelievable experience. Go, and be converted!

You're not listening to the words and how she's portraying trashy America. It's really hard to hear too. She's a genius. Go see her and you'll spray your diarrhea in paroxysms of laughter!
Don't miss her live show - you'll die laughing and feel you've gone to scary velour pantsuit heaven.

Ok, I thought the same thing until I saw Dina Martina's 2008 Christmas show. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. You gotta see her in person. She has seriously found the formula for live humor and it works for the crowds who go see her perform.
