Aboo Ayyoob al-Ansaaree narrated: Allaah's Messenger, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam, said: "He who fasts Ramadhaan, and six of Shawwaal, it will be (in terms of rewards) as if the fasted a whole year." (Reported by Muslim)
