Homophobia exists in the film industry, as in any other, Hauslaib says.

  • @MegaHappybunny101 i know:)

  • @ColonPal Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're not gay. Most gays are not self-loathing; if anything, they're happy with they are, and they accept themselves for what they are.

Unless you're one of those brainwashed fundamentalists who thinks you were secretly abused or have a mental disorder, which does not cause gayness, as most reasonable scientists and pyschologists can verify.

  • @razzlefrog -- Good! I don't really care what you believe or don't believe.

  • @ColonPal

I don't even believe you're gay. All my gay friends would disagree with your statement.

  • botoxed lips!

  • he has such a cute little boy face its so adorable.

  • gay people are fuckin gay

  • I've got to say that I think there's nothing more INSULTING to gay people than to pretend that we ARE 'normalized' people. Nothing makes a movie worse, than when you can tell that the gay characters in them are purposefully created to make gayness appear to be 'normal' -- what self-loathing gay person would ever want to see this, except maybe this queen?

It's not a film-makers job to have a cultural agenda with his characters and whether the gay character is 'normal' or 'token' it's a BAD film!

  • Gay/lesbian/bi roles are somewhat on the rise....so people are getting a grip on it. And Girl...is that an overdose off lipgloss, or did your underlips swell???LOL...

  • Brokeback Mountain grossed 70 million, didn't it?

There have been some brilliant gay films made, starting with Kenneth Anger's Fireworks in 1946.
