We have barefoot horses out here and it causes MAJOR problems. My riding horses are barefoot but that is because they are on DIRT. In the city horses NEED shoes!!!

If the hoof wears faster than it grows, YES the horse needs shoes.
there is no way for a work horse to pull a carriage on cobble stone, or asphalt.
This is why shoes were used in the first place. As roads evolved so did the hoof care and shoes.

What a spectacular farrier! Beautiful job! We use Remuda Tires over here and love them but your shoes are lovely and that man can sure cut a hoof!!! Thumbs up!!
