@Greennostalgic Yes, this savy young woman (not "little girl") IS feeling it. Nikki knows and FEELS the history of music and singers, and a great classic song. She has a good deal of positive feelings and excitement from a functional, loving family and her amazing career development. Somehow this not supposed to measure up to the artistic inspiration of self-destructive drug abuse and negative trauma in life. Baloney. Didn't like Amy's version-over-sung, too bluesy-prefer Ella, Shearing, Vaughn.

@SamMonrose Jazz and classical music are more about technique than some types of music, and people can really appreciate the technique at times, and enjoy getting "lost" in the music at other times. Technique gets talked about alot with Nikki is because she is SO technically gifted and talented, and there are aspects of a vocalist like pitch, timing, phrasing, control, range, etc., And technique talk to let people know more about Nikki and correct misinformation e.g. she uses autotuning.
