thanks! i am not so keen on music theory, but there are only 7 basic chords out there - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and their variations, major vs. minor and so on. Most people like me, who haven't had musical training, tend to use or overuse the simple chords. The "Complicated" song uses chords like Bb, Dm, C, F, if I remember correctly. In this song I use Am, C, F, G in various order. You can have two songs that even use the same chords but have different rhythm that sound completely different.
