Simon Cowell: 'I don't want to fire Kara DioGuardi'

Simon Cowell Sounds Off On Rumored Idol Feud With Kara DioGuardi Contrary to reports, there is no bad blood brewing at the judges table of American Idol at least, as far as Simon Cowell is concerned.

Rumors had been swirling suggesting Simon had been trying to get new Idol judge Kara DioGuardi fired. However, in a statement to Access Hollywood, Simon said he had no beef with his Idol counterpart.

I get on really well with Kara. Ive really enjoyed having her on the show, Simon told Access. I look forward to continually working with her.

On Tuesday nights show, Simon appeared to be mocking Kara as she was offering her critique to contestant Matt Giraud an action, which only fueled the rumor mill of a feud between the two.

But in a previous interview with AccessHollywood.coms Dish of Salt Laura Saltman, Kara said if there was a problem with the British judge it was news to her.

Simons trying to get me fired? Kara asked, when she was told of the rumor. You know what, I dont think hed have to try, to be honest with you. I think he could just be like, Eject. Gone.

I used to think Kara was annoying...but after she dissed bikini girl on the finale, I was like "U go girl!". I finally saw her personality and it was awesome. I love both Paula and Kara, and now I can't imagine the show without them.

Four judges is one too many,Kara is useless and unlikable,Ellen Degenerate is an idiotic choice. They should sack Kara and hire Gladys Knight as 3rd judge and leave it at that. Knight is as positive and lovable as Paula,yet is capable of giving useful,constructive,non-gushy critiques to contestants. She is always classy and professional,and I've never seen her all hopped up on goofballs,as Paula sometimes is...

there were rumors that paula abdul was leaving american idol... and not coming abck in season 9... few weeks later i was watching the news and saw the article that sais "paula abdul not a judge on american idol" .... = [ i think 4 of them are great judges... i just hope that paula doesn't leave.... shes a great judge...
