Writhing worldscape dangerous terrains tests fail on a 1 and a 2 I believe. So its actually like 33.3333% chance to lose models.

No chrono doesnt affect the lightning roll because it is done at the start of the turn, not during a phase as per the chronometron rules.

How does bring that many scarabs hold up to all the missle spam, psycannon spam, or just plain IG Multi-lasers that are just gunna double out all those scarabs?

I also think 40k is going to evolve the way your going where "its always your turn" (sound familiar?)
When you're also active during your opponent's turn and have means to interact.
And not just a passive bystander...
