Inspired by the rss visualization screensaver on Mac OSX, this is a Twitter Data Visualization that displays tweets based on search queries. This particular search is responding to the phrase "Cultural Identity". This piece will be installed at the GCTC (Great Canadian Theatre Company) in Ottawa for one night only.
I probably have plans to use it for other things in the future. There is more tweaking to be done but nonetheless, does most of what I want it to do! I also used a text-to-speech application that speaks each time a Tweet is rendered to the foreground but I disabled it for this video.
