The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour PCS Auction Story Featuring Lynnea Bylund. This news report aired on my maternal grandmother Winnie's birthday Feb. 3 which was a nice surprise.

This is the very first opening day of the PCS Auction. The first auction ever held over the internet. Game theory techniques of Nobel Prize Winner John Nash of a "Beautiful Mind" deployed for this historic auction.

We started out with 30 bidders for the top 99 PCS licenses in the US. After 30 days of bidding, there were 18 winners who collectively bid up $7.7 Billion Dollars US. The most amount of money raised in World History.

My woman owned company was one of the 18 winners next to Sprint, Bell Atlantic, AT&T, Verizon, MCI, US Airwaves, etc.

Part two of two. Part one sets the story up. Part two includes Lynnea's interview which begins the segments coverage of Game Theory.
