the Body is the Temple, in this Class we teach Both From Scriptures as well as through illustration on what is Healthy and Righteous For the Body and Soul to Live Forever
(G.) To Paul, this teaching was evil. “Every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving” (1 Timothy 4:4). The fact that he used the term “every creature” means he included animals as permitted food. Sir you greatly error having no respect for New Testament teachings!
(F.)Does Paul mean that a complete abstention of meats (flesh) will be erroneously taught? Not really. The Greek actually says “foods,” and it simply means foods in general, of which flesh would only be a part. What Paul is saying is that in the latter days teachers will be making distinctions over foods and commanding their followers to abstain from some of them.
(D.)Paul said that in the latter days some would depart from the faith: “giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”(1Tim4:1–3)
(C.)The mature believers, however, should realize that the ceremonial laws of the Old Covenant are no longer relevant for them, and they should let no man judge them on what they eat or drink (Col2:16).“Let not him that eats despise him that eats not, and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him. Who are you that judge another man’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls.”(Rom14:3–4)
(B.)The mature believer should realize that all foods are pure from a religious standpoint and that no religious sense of right or wrong should be had over them. The Dietary Laws applied to the Jews only. To the Colossians, who was mature believers, Paul gave this reminder: “Let no man therefore judge you in meat [food] or drink, or in the respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days.”(Col 2:16-17) Note17,"Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ”
(A.)Do the Dietary Laws Apply for the Christian today? The whole of the food laws of the Old Testament is ritualistic! If it were not, then Paul would never have told the Corinthians to eat what was sold in the meat markets (shambles) at Corinth, or to consume whatever food was set before one on a neighbor’s table (1 Corinthians 10:25–28).
I have had many dreams that I am in a large, dark old house with many hidden rooms that I am searching thru. There are people I know in the house and the house is desolate and empty. I have found feces on the floor not knowing how to clean it up and damage to the rooms not knowing where to start to repair it or I am outside the house not knowing how to aproach it. I am concerned that I may have quenched the spirit of the Lord that once gracefully recieved me as his temple. Faith hope and love!
We often forget that the body is the Temple of God, not our own. I see this as a major reason for so many of the worlds ills today. Continue to speak the truth brothers, it's not always the easy thing to do.
