Missy, a playful chimpanzee rescued by Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest tries to get the attention of volunteer Kim Michaels and Founding Director Keith LaChappelle. Keep in mind that humans and chimpanzees share 98.76% of their DNA. Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest provides lifetime quality care for formerly abused or exploited chimpanzees, while advocating for great apes through education and collaboration. We envision a future in which primates are no longer owned as pets, or exploited for entertainment and biomedical research. Lots of videos on You Tube involve chimpanzees who are being exploited. Please think about the context of where the videos were filmed.
Gotta love the chimps

My bird shakes his head at me to make sure I am actually seeing him. The idea is that I too am suppose to shake my head back at him.
