@PokeDude1995 There's no need for the frames and hitbox data to be any different, just the animation. It's not like the animations of the characters match the hitboxes well in the first place.

The claw does not switch sides because the game would not be balanced if it did - the arm has to travel longer on one side than the other, but it has to do it in the same time or else you would have a disadvantage when fighting on one side of the screen. So (all) characters switch which arm and leg they use depending on where they are standing, not just Claw.

@Makingnewnamesisdumb I'm pretty sure they did that on purpose as with sagats eye patch, just to preserve the 2d fighter feel

It's amazing that this amateur modder put a tattoo on Chun Li's thigh that actually switches sides, but Capcom could not figure out how to make it so Claw's claw changes sides.
