Enough comments about Cassie's hair color! Her character isn't defined by her hair. I chose Brittany Snow because regardless of whether she's blonde or brunette, I thought she showed the innocence and shyness that the character *is* initially defined by.

I would rather an actress be able to portray the nuances of a character's personality than exactly match a physical description.

What I'm trying to say from the last comment. All books, movies, tv shows are different. Everybody get inspired by others. Stop comparing so much and say that the one thing is better than the other. It's just what you think. Everybody can't like the same. That's why we have all this different books and tv material to read/watch. Who care if a author "stole" from someone else.. Everyone does it. And we get different kinds of stuff anyway, anyhow.

But, read Anita Blake, it deserves population too.

Because of Twilight other vampire/werewolf books got recognised. And because of Vampire Diaries witch books have been more recognised. Because Twilight is a "hate or love thing" all the others turns out to be a "hate or love thing". It's sad actually. So without Twilight, book or not, many wouldn't know about Vampire Diaries, Secret Circle, Anita Blake, True Blood, House of Night, Teen Wolf, Vampire Academy, Bloodlines, Being Human and so on.
