  • Most enjoyable song, with Floyd Cramer and others contributing. Takes me back instantly to a very pleasant family holiday in the school break in August 1960 - hearing it on a early generation transistor radio!

  • Blatant Elvis copycatting. But it's great record. Better than anything Gene Vincent has ever done !!!

  • I think Crash Craddock had his first hits here in Australia and he didn't know how big he was. I think he was brought out here by Lee Gordon and when he arrived at the airport, he thought there was another big star arriving as well, until he heard his name being called, unfortunately for him he had already signed a contract to do his shows for peanuts.

    Love the 50's and 60's.

    Thanks for the post

    Ray.

  • Great tune!

  • Billy Crash Craddock was fantastic.

It has taken me a while to find this one.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I remember Crash Craddock back in the late 50's he was very popular here in Australia. Thats how we knew him just as 'Crash Craddock' didn't know about the Billy bit till many years later

  • Why the hell this, "Boom Boom Baby", "One Last Kiss", "Ah Don't You Know" etc... wern't hits in America I cannot figure out for the life of me!! They were bloody MASSIVE in Australia and he came out and performed.. he was a HUGE teen idol yet in America he remained unheard of untill "Rub It In" which i don't like anyway I prefer his rockin' crazy beauties. Love him till the end... still got all his 45's on Coronet, and his 3 EPs and a couple of 45's on Mercury from the early 60's.

  • Happy New Year John...Great track and vid to start 2009...Billy...
