It's Finnish baseball. The basic idea is the same that in baseball but this is faster game with a few differences.

One difference is the pitching and in Pesäpallo you can't just hit the ball out of the stadium for a homerun. The ball has to touch ground within the lines of the playing field. It's harder to hit the ball in baseball. In Pesäpallo the players can hit the ball every time and even place it different directions, because of the easier pitching.
