  • Hi, love this. Can you tell my what patches you're using on the soloist? I own a K2600 also and the AM virtual Soloist. Thanks.

  • hi there... the Arp preset used is the trumpet! it's the sound Banks used...

the k2600 is a fantastic keyboard, I suggest you to buy the "Vintage pianos" ROM which contains incredible sounds! all the rhodes, wurlitzer, cp 70 and obviously something such as 10/15 RMI pianos preset... including "Rael On Broadway", "the Lamb'sWool", "In My Stomach"... incredible...

  • does the kurzweil come with this patch

i've been looking every where for a synth of this so i can play sam coomes's stuff from the 90's

  • hi there...

no this in an additional extra ROM called "Vintage Pianos"...a collection of 100 famous pianos taken from famous songs... rodhes, wurlitzer, cp80, RMI and so on...

  • Your Pro Soloist is out of tune - easy enough to tune through the hole under the cap to the left of the portamento slider. Once in tune should stay there as they are very stable. Sound used by Banks for FoF solo was trumpet. Also the solo is played staccato - that way you can hear the full ADSR of the trumpet sound. Look for youtube vids of Genesis doing it live and you should see how Banks played it.

  • yes, it was out of tune...and I was out time ;-) ---anyway...

what do u mean for "staccato"? ADSR?

  • Nice performance! The sound of the Pro Soloist is very good! I own an early Soloist and I really love that sound.

But it's regrettable that some parts are missing. Keep trying! I'm looking forward to your upcoming version.

  • Nice!!! love the pro soloist!!

  • ma il senso del tempo?

  • nicely done and a fine ending ;:D

  • Good job! I like that Cinema Show touch at the end..

  • You should be a hand model! LOL! I love the ARP...but I'm more impressed with the RMI sounds on the Kurzweil! It's really hard to fake an RMI...I've yet to find any great samples either.

  • The opening piano intro, in which Tony Banks reprises on the ARP at the 4:37 mark on the original song, is often omitted in live performances of the song due to its complexity to do so on the RMI electric piano which Banks used in concert - which was also why the song insteads begins with Peter singing "The path is clear/Though no eyes can see."

  • Fantastic job / Bellisima !!!
