@majesticix alright man thanks alot!

@miller09g8gt Not sure off hand, you'd have to check with Solo. You can find Steve's info at G8board.com. They are superb to deal with.
-
@majesticix oh nice! how much are they?
-
@miller09g8gt Nope, they are long tubes. Solo makes a connection pipe specifically for Kooks LTHs. Just give Steve a call @ Solo and he can hook you up.

how does this car have kooks long tube headers and solo high flow cats? are you sure that they arent kooks shorty headers?
-
@2009G8Gxp Actually those are his 17" winter rims...no idea the brand. I think he currently is running with the Camaro rims, but he changes his wheels more often than I change my oil so who knows :P

Sick! thank you for posting the video. I have same set up without headers but that is what I wanna do. What size kooks headers did you go with?

@GHO5T62 1-7/8"

@majesticix Would you rec the 1 7/8 or 1 3/4? I heard with under 500 if you run the 1 7/8 you might actually lose power with no back pressure.

@GHO5T62 You lose a bit of low-end torque with 1 7/8 vs the 1 3/4. If you ever plan to go with forced induction, 1 7/8 is the way to go. The more mods you make, the better off you are with the larger primaries. I'd suggest 1-7/8. The loss difference for cars with minimal mods isn't a deal breaker, and chances are if you're replacing headers, you'll be doing something else next year. Vroooom!
