A short compilation of videos from the Delta Works project. The Delta Works are a series of flood defenses built between 1950 and 1997 in the southwest of the Netherlands, designed to protect the area of land around the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta from the sea. God created the world but the Dutch created the Netherlands. These guys know how to keep the most stubborn and most amazing element of all, water. Years of flooding shaped the minds of these people and because of those floods, they unconsciously made these out-of-this-world wonders!

Dutch engineers are the best. Sadly some country's don't understand. I feel country ruling with many neature disasters, like tsunami's should hire dutch company.

Amazing! I was just reading the Deltawerken (Detla Works) on Wikipedia. Our FEMA needs to wake up, consult the Dutch on these marvels and really improve our flood protection around the states. Thanks for posting. I will be checking out the your other vids.
