HD Sportster 1200 with Bassani pipes

Start up and walk around of my '01 Sporty with Bassani pipes. It's an 883 converted to 1200 with 10:1 compression and a few other goodies. Flat black, chopped, and slammed suspension. More blacking out and 21" front wheel in the future.

I hate those pipes! I got them too they look great sound deadly but drag hard on the pavement on right hand corners. Mine rusted too after a couple years

@oldbuckshot Yeah the right hand turn thing was def a hindrance but looking back I wouldn't say I hated them. If a sportster were my only bike I wouldn't want these pipes because I wouldn't be able to ride aggressively, but I have a triumph that I can hit the corners hard with so I wouldn't be totally against these pipes.

Honestly, I'd prefer to just get an 04 or newer Sportster. There are WAY more options for pipes :)

@gotboost2jz Ya i geuss i dont "hate" them but am gonna switch out for a set of good ol drag pipes

@oldbuckshot I'm done with open drag pipes. Even with baffles they were such a pain to work with and tune for (carb'd bike).

Sucks because the ones I switched to after these bassanis looked great.

These were on the bike when I bought it but I ended up replacing them and installing the news one myself yes.

Did you install the pipes your self?

@VinnyTheCuz I think he lived in Queen Creek, AZ. I was in Glendale, AZ at the time. I dont know if he made it himself or not, I just bought it off him.

@gotboost2jz What city are you in? Maybe that would help me to find the guy..alas I don't know any custom parts maker where I live.
