Carpentersdaughter2 I just want you to know, you are not alone, there are hundreds of us. I am a pastor and I have seen the congregation embrace the Apostolic/prophetic movement. I came against some of the teachings that are completely un biblical and have been black balled, shunned and deemed as a heretic. I understand, keep holding to the cross. Blessings, from Tulsa, OK

Well done for being bold and brave. People often continue to follow false prophets because they are afraid and don't know how to stop. They are caught up by the charismania because they have needs that have never been met and unscrupulous people will always prey on the needy. Unfortunately there are also those caught up in it because they too are of the same spirit. May God give you strength, peace and the ability to persevere. You are no Pharisee dear sister. the question is: has Bentley had real supernatural experiences? of course even if he had he would have to test them, which he does not.
But has he had any? or is he clinically insane, hallucinating for all he is worth.
looking at his totaly insane teaching and manner i really do pump for the latter.
of course even if he has had no supernatural experiences his teaching is rank heresy, and he is a liar against the Holy Spirit for calling of God what is not.
God have mercy

Well, if you speak out against poor mad Todd Bentley you are ok in my book. that is worth my subscribing, methinks.
My thinking is quite charismatic, so my objection to them is not their supernatural outlook, only that they do not have the reality they speak about so counterfeit it rather than confess their backsliding; and in doing so they go overboard and twist the thing. For myself that meant a nervous breakdown and 12 years more or less an invalid

@carpentersdaughter2 I've learned only too well, over and over again it seems, that just because someone is talking about God and preaching from the bible does not mean in any way, shape, or form that the teaching is from God. So, don't give up! It might take some folks a long time to finally learn this lesson. But if they love the Truth, they will keep seeking until they find.
Hi again! I made a comment about 2 or 3 yrs ago, forget which. Anyway, i was just wondering what all those friends whom you lost think about Todd Bentley now?

@sunshinegirl1967 you know, not one has come back to say that they realized Bentley was and is still a false prophet. the man is still going around doing his thing, only without so much publicity.
Thanks to the Holy Spirit, one was snatched from his teachings and now is centered in the word of God and doing real well...my heart rejoices over her. She and her sister were going to go to his revival when she saw my video on godtube, so I got to see one where they left his teachings...

Christ hired Satan to rule the world during the 8,400 day Great Trib (May 21,1988-May 21,2011), and gave him the churches as his wage in fulfillment of II Thes 2:2-4; Mat 24:15-16; II Cor 11:13-15. In 40 days, on May 21, Christ will return to Rapture His Elect, and bring 5 months of Judgment on the 8.6+ billion non-elect. Christ will melt this earth at the end of the 5 months, Oct 21. In our day, Christ is only found on the pages of the Bible, and through prayer. The churches are dead.

@WitnessoftheTruth This May 21, 2011 rapture date was given by Herold Camping. This man has given rapture dates in the past and was obviously wrong. People should avoid this false prophet and not pay any attention to anything he has to say.
I will be writing you on May 22, to ask you how you feel about giving out this date. I hope you will see that we are not to know even the day, only the season in which we live.

@carp, 'May 21, 2011'
Acutally, Christ's return in 40 days comes from the Biblical time line of history, and is supported by 50+ Biblical signs and proofs. Unless you claim Camping wrote the Bible, he is not the originator of this date. The Biblical time testifies human history was designed before it ever began. By the Lord's mercy, He is using His Heirs to warn the world (Ezek 33:1-10). Those claiming they are 'saved', but we can't know the time, are headed for Judgment Day (I Thes 5:2-3).

@WitnessoftheTruth What excuse are you going to give about the last rapture timing that failed to happen. So I see you equate Campings words right to God's Word. You seem to put him up there at the right hand of God...shame on you if you are truly born again.
So, because I won't heed the words of your false prophet, I am heading for judgement?...More ploy tricks from those caught up into cults. I already left one cult, sure not going to fall for another.
