@JewishSong I think it was composed by Shlomo Carlebach, who was more chabad than breslov, but hardly a J for J :)

It's a western mix melody. As a Mizrahi Jew, I think I will stick with the middle eastern melody. I sounds more genuine and Semitic to me.
