Charlie would have been way better off giving the formula to Slugworth. Do you think a factory run by a little kid with no experience is going to attract any investment? Not to mention that he would be slapped with class action lawsuits by the other contestants, seeing as how their lives were endangered by Wonka's gross negligence. And why would the Oompa Loompas work for Charlie? They are Wonka's slaves because he rescued them, but what do they owe Charlie? I foresee strikes ad walkouts...
