I am currently remastering this DVD show to the director so to get a better version out there. This is a laserdisk Rip to DVD and re-Compressed onto a low quality set of .vob files. I dvd the rip (which color balance is way off, isn s'tharp at al, especially for Pal format, it is just pathetic; I have taken it upon myself to clean up this crappy job. Look for a re-release in the next 6 months or so.

I saw this movie in the theaters when it first came out but had no idea Carl was in it beforehand. As soon as the drifter appeared on the screen I was very excited that it was him. He is not in the film long, but he commands attention every time he is on screen.

@tangoakathx I'll re-watch it too, since it's sitting on my shelf at the moment, but from what I remember it was a mechanized soldier prototype that they wound up scrapping because of the whole "can't handle water" thing...

@conradragzoff Ill have to go back and watch this but I believe its about the governments attempt at creating a machine for depopulation. I dont remember if it was scrapped at the last minute or intentionally left out there but I THOUGHT that was the point after watching the whole thing.

I could not find the soundtrack so I went out and bought the ministry album just to listen to the Song stigmata which played in it.

Nice that are other fans like me of this unique futuristic shocker. I did a short remix of the Simon Boswell tune on my channel.

It just.....doesn't get any cooler than this. It just doesn't. The post-apocalyptic radioactive desert, the syber-western music and CARL MC-FUCKING-COY briniging disaster to humanity!!!!

Saw it at release date. Today I wonder how much they ripped from this when making Terminator.

You don't mean the original Terminator film, surely? That came out 6 years before Hardware...
