Oh that I do not dispute; but by saying "taken out" I understood a total catastrophic near instaneous loss.

@52111centrumcz In my original comment, I described the lead vehicle getting taken out by a sabot round from 2 miles away. I did not mention any "most likely" scenarios; I portrayed one becoming severely damaged by a sabot. Which, as we established, is plausible.

I did not say it wouldn't be incapacitated - but if it misses the driver/engine/gearbox, then most probably it will keep moving. And by "not heavy enough" I mean the armor is so thin that there wouldn't be significant after-armor effects from spalling.

This vehicle is not heavy enough - most probably the sabot flies in one end and leaves the other - and if it doesn't hit the engine/transmission/driver it will keep going.

What good would this do as a tank? Its not a tank!! Its a mobile anti aircraft gun with two VADS (Vulcan Air Defence System) and surface to air missiles... Thats what i know... And possibly surface to surface missiles for taking out certain ground units
