Except for the fact Mike Gravel was the first candidate to announce his campaign for presidency...

He was also in the Senate before Ron Paul was in the house.

They're biggest difference is that, Ron Paul has become a career politician, whereas Mike Gravel is not.

But I do like both. Supporters on both sides need to understand, they 're both better than the rest.

What don't Americans get about invading another country and their telling us to leave and now they are doing it with bullets? If Americans keep staying there, there will be more bullets and more deaths. How can you be fighting for anyone's freedom or democracy in such a situation? You can't. It's craziness. If Greenland bombed and invaded USA and raided homes and imprisoned your family and neighbors in Abu Grahib, Americans would fight back. Or would they just watch sports or American Idol?

Where is Mike today. I can still find updated videos on Paul, Kucinich and the likes, but not Gravel. What's he up to?

I am a vietnam war veteran. They put me on a submarine to evaluate for 4 years;I think to keep me and others quiet. I remember what it was like, I lost friends and your video hits a cord and strikes out a war mongers. Thank You. The video is great but discording to those us who remember all too well.

I love to hear him speak the truth, too. I also loved to hear him talk about the misuse of authority, the value of human life and the power of love in society. But then again most people who know me think I'm not a typical American...  Many Americans have been brainwashed for too long. They haven't overcome the informational conditioning (both misinformation and lack of information) that makes them believe what is not true.

S.h.i....I'm still seriously considering voting for him in 08 though he lost the Libertarian nomination because the delegates sold out their party to the CIA/GOP by voting for Bob Barr, former Republican congressman and Drug Warrior who voted for Patriot Act and defense of marriage act. Gravel is honest man who wants the best for the ordinary American people but the masses are too lazy and dumb to discover the truth, they only buy the lies from mass media...

Well see, if Obama was a sure for the nomination, I'd vote Kucinich or Gavel. But the fact is, it's an extremely tight race between Obama and Clinton, and so Obama can't afford to lose any votes. I don't want to see Clinton as the nominee, for I think she couldn't stand against McCain. Obama is really the only democrat that has a chance to defeat him.
