Tamang Heritage Trail Part 2

The Tamang Heritage Trail is an ancient trading route of the Nepalese and Tibetans in the region of Lantang, Rasuwa in Nepal. The trail was revived and developed under the Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme (TRPAP) managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to distribute equal tourism opportunities among poor rural communities living in that region. Every tourist dollar that is spent here will contribute directly to the local livelihood, women's empowerment and environmental conservations.
