  • @Likushaa to work out the middle section out (-30xy) you had to multiply "3x-5y" in one bracket and "3x-5y" in the other bracket. Therefore "-15xy" and "-15xy".

    -15xy-15xy = -30xy

    ... I think, but I'm pretty dumb
