This is a must for any audi tt 1.8t owner. just after where the catalytic converter pipes meet back is 2" straight pipe on this car. for any fan of the srt4 sound and you want a quiet idle and cruise, this is a must. sounds wayyy better than the poor sound quality leads you to believe.

  • i know he has an intake for it and the apr catback. his is a 180, idk if they will work on a 225

  • @dustydrifter4 haha i would love to come out to NY for a week but my work probley will not let me... but yeah let me know a price and i will find out what it would be to ship it to me. i sure he will want at least 8 900 for it depending on the type cat back/ full turbo back. what other parts dose he have on hand?

  • i am in NY :( i will ask my friend who owns it i will see him later today

  • @dustydrifter4 also are you in the mid west? if you have a good deal and your close to me (nebraska) i may be able to meet up and pick up.

  • @dustydrifter4 i would love a apr exhaust but have no money right now... lol nice sound quite/mellow just what the tt needs, i just put an intake cam in and lifters all around and the moved my power band up but now i just need to save money for a clutch and build a 2.0 bottem end, well may be idk yet... when i do exhaust i may go and build my own my buddy has a mig welder so... what are you asken for the apr exhaust?

  • a built bottom end was my friends next step. now he is looking to part it out and get a supra. after reading your post i checked out the piping we took off the car and it was smaller than what we put on until after the muffler (we replaced from the downpipe back). sry if there is any confusion i posted under my gfs screen name lunatiKitanul btw. lemme kno if you would like the APR exhaust its a dual outlet.

  • @lunatiKitanul

yeah my name is how much boost im running at this point in time i have a 04 225Q 6speed thats chip (giac) and even my stock k04 is lacking the up top power band but still is a really fun car to jet around town with. thinking im gonna start saveing up and go big turbo and build the bottom end but time will tell.

  • i believe you are right bro. the car actually seemed to spool up ridiculously quick. it probably did lose some top end power but it lacked so much up there stock it wasn't missed. just a few months ago we took he car to ICS Performance in Stamford CT to get a new APR tune, an intake and a new exhaust. we went bigger this time. (it's cool your name is 20psinow cuz thats how much the tt is boosting now).

  • the factory exhaut is 1.5 inches for 90% of what we replaced (dustydrifter4)

    stock 150,180 is a 2 1/4" catback exhaust

stock 225,240 is a 2 1/2" crush bent exhaust... so you went smaller on a turbo car! that is going to make the car slower (even if its stright pipe). great for spooling up the turbo but its a k03 and spools up fast, so bigger would be better you would kill your top end going to a 2" exhaust!!

    Stupied but thats my .2

  • im leaving this vid up just to piss you people off. ;)
