Thomas Cromwell - This is Where the Story Ends

A video about the end of Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII's notorious cheif Minister and Lord Chancellor. Brilliantly portryaed in the TV series, The Tudors, by James Frain. Cromwell was arrested at a meeting of the Privy Council [the King's Council of advisors which ran the kingdom] on 10th June 1540 and imprisoned in the Tower. He was executed on the 20th July 1540, the same day the King divorced Anne of Cleves and married Catherine Howard. His execution was botched and it took the executioner many strokes till he severed the head. Henry VIII later regretted executing his loyal first minister and blamed his Council for plotting Cromwell's downfall, the King spent the rest of his life lamenting the fate of the most faithful servant he had ever had.

Nice video you've thrown together. I'm afraid to say I recognize a few edits from other vidders in there... You know that's a serious no-no, right? It's not THAT hard to get the episodes, you know. There are ways... Then you can do the hard work of digging through all the episodes in their entirety yourself!

@frasergray95 Sorry I was so harsh. It's something a lot of vidders do in the beginning (I did and I got yelled at by a vidder I really admired -- needless to say I learned how to get the original footage to work with instead from then on). Trying to disguise and work around other people's editing is frustrating and limiting any way. So congrats on having your stuff now. Good luck.

I'm proud to say I was a fan of James Frain way before he ended up on TB, LOL. He was freaking fantastic on The Tudors and I actually liked Cromwell cause he was a bad guy but in a fascinating way. And not that bad at all. He was seeking to stay alive with a king who notoriously grew tired of everyone.
