Scottish group Bay City Rollers were "the" teen idols of the mid 70s & they were particularly huge in Australia.
They scored fourteen hits in Oz over a period of three years ... many of their songs were covers including their biggest hit "Bye Bye Baby".
This song entered the Australian chart in Dec 1975 & reached No.3.
It was an original song ... written by Eric Faulkner & Stuart Wood from the band.
This is NOT live, they are sync'ing to the record. They did perform live in concerts, but not usually on TV performances. This was common practice back then.
