  • Hey atlas. I'm buying a KLR next summer when I get back from machinest school, welding school and gunsmithing school. Gotta get back into riding. :D

  • Cool. That means you could weld some guns to the bike frame. Will teach cagers not to see us! :P

  • lots of 'oo this is nice' lol, wind noise seems a lot... different helmet? have you decided if your gonna buy it yet?

  • Same helmet. The windscreen doesnt offer much wind protection, thats why there was more wind noise

  • You would have a lot of fun on a KLR. What ever happened to that trip to Italy you won?

  • Thats on the back burner right now

  • Wow, I hope your never riding around me, you are all over the place! As for the KLR650 it is a bike that is great at nothing but will do everything. They are very dependent on how you set them up with tires, gearing, lighting, shocks, and accessories. Just do me a favor and pay attention to the road before you find out how good your gear is the hard way. :-)

  • @rooster828 I am always excited to ride my KLR-650. It's like a Toyota 4x4 only better and gets 50mpg.

  • Never seen anyone excited to ride a klr before. Can I request a video of you testing a 250 2-stroke mx bike? or a 450. or even better a cr500 or kx500

  • @AtlasRider Lol my uncle used to have a problem with cars then he strapped a holster with his .45 on his handlebars, and he hasn't had a problem since.

  • How tall are you

  • Saddam Hussein crawled down in a hole and surrendered when he learned that the U.S. Military employed KLRs in it's arsenal.

  • also yeah... Klr's are tall bikes for offroad clearance, good if you're moving but you'll drop it alot if you're navigating tight stuff at a slow speed. I know I have and I'm 6'3"

  • I own an 09, good bike. Nice getting nearly 300 miles on a tank. Just not fast... :( alas I'll be trading her in for a zx10.

  • lol 5 foot 9 inches fairly tall lmfao

  • I heard Corbin has a seat that is lower and is more comfortable, but there are other mechanical ways to lower it to.
