  • Great job on the video

    From a Wizard

  • My grandfather served on the USS CORAL SEA CVA-43 during the start of VIETNAM

  • @KO3MOHOT

I called it a boat, too, like ask a BM " How do you get to the pointy end of this boat"

I was with VA-35 Black Panthers back in '73-'75

  • I'd almost forgotten the "station wagon" moniker! Ha! - I have not forgetten the hassle of taking the "canoes" off the jammer pods! Formerly attached to VAQ-309 Axemen (AKA - Axe-murders) - and I thought it was "tradition" for air-wingers to call the ship a "boat" (as a "jab" at the "blackshoes") - at least it was with the units I was attached to.

  • The venerable Sky Pig...gotta love the Prowler!

  • The Double Ugly, the Station Wagon

  • oh man, I felt so bad about saying that.; I had no right to say it. Sorry.

  • sorry jumpydedi, but with grammar like that i can see why. By the way, its called a ship.

  • im in vaq138 and ill never see a boat...what waste of being in the navy....

  • its 4 people per prowler? 1 Pilot and 3 NFOs?
