Comment faire pour avoir les paroles en français ?
-
@gbkaur: I think that Gurmukhi-->English is tricky. Gurmukhi is a phoenetic language with long vowels and sounds that don't exist in English. I'm thinking that maybe the "G" is written to get people to make the right sound ?

dear brightstarhealing, Well said. Some of us learn the words and maybe the prounciation too but few know the meaning. Ek Ong/Onk Kaar is the first chant of the Mool Mantra. Mool Mantra means the Fundamental Truth/Chant. This is the first verse on which the entire Sikh Religion rests. The exact meaning evolves in ones mind as you continue to recite it. For me it means that the entire creation came into being when the Almighty wished so. Ek means One, Ong Kaar means the utterance of the word Om.
@gbkaur - instead of filling yourself with outrage at her pronunciation, find compassion in your heart that she is opening Sikhism to so many. Embrace her as a sister and lift your vibration from animosity to love.
I found this very peaceful and enchanting. So gbkaur - what does eK oNK kar mean? I would love to be enlightened by your wisdom.
