@bobo577 Not needed for those reasons, you can still do it for other reasons, hygienic and religious are not the only two reasons you circumcise, cultural is another reason, Jesus said that circumcision is no longer needed as a religious must, he never stated about the cultural aspect of it, Arabs, Jews and Arameans have been circumcision their kids long before Jesus, Islam, or even before Judaism appeared, Sumeria is the oldest empire in the world and they where the ones who started it.

@MrDiem2 Sorry, that's what I meant, it's now being done for hygienic reasons but to Jews it has a religious significance. It was part of the Old Covenant. Because of Jesus, circumcision is no longer needed.

@bobo577 No, circumcision has been done in the middle east ever since the Sumerians started it, it's a legacy from old, and what seperates middle eastern people from western people like Greeks and Persians in the old days, nowdays everybody does it for hygienic reasons
