Marcus Thus Wins The Bet He Made With Carly At The Beginning Of The Week. She Is A Gracious Winner, And Writes Him Out A Cheque. Marcus Jokingly Instructs Carly To Make It Out To, 'Community To Keep A Green Salem'. Calliope Rushes In, And Anounces There's Going To Be An Emergency Protest Meeting Against Jencon Oil Down At The Brady Fish Market. Carly, Marcus And Calliope All Rush Over.

Shawn Brady Sr. Delivers A Defense Speech In Response To JENCON OIL Representative, Mr. Garrison. After The Meeting Is Over And Everyone Begins To Leave Carly Stays Behind, Gets Further Aquainted With The Patriarch Of The Brady Family - She Congratulates Shawn Sr. On His Wonderful Speech.

Back At The Hospital, Marcus Notices Carly Is Awefully Quiet All Of A Sudden, For Someone Who Is Always So Energetic And Involved, All Of The Time. He Guesses That She Is Still Thinking About What Went On At The Protest Meeting. Carly Reiterates To Marcus How Much She Loved Shawn Sr.'s Speech. Marcus Proceeds To Tell His New Friend And Colleague More About The Wonderful, Close-Knit Brady Family - Pointing Out That There Isn't Anything That Shawn Sr. Won't Do For His Family. (Here, Marcus Hints That Bo Brady Is Different From The Rest Of Brady Siblings.) Carly Responds To Marcus' Comment by Afirming That The Brady's Are Indeed
