@Victek2007 I used to run dd-wrt v23 on my wrt54g v5 and it ran quite well but when I got a wrt54g v2
I tried tomato 1.28 and I was very impressed.
At the moment my wrt54g v5 is running a Wireless bridge from my wrt54gl v1.1 I would be using my wrt54g v2 but the Ethernet in it got taken out by a storm but I can still log into it via wireless so its setup as a Wireless Repeater now.

just for those that ask why do you need a card, its because you need more storage for the router in order to add new stuff like vpn, ftp, scp, and other servers. Im thinking about doing the same with mine so i can add some ips functionality =P.

what is that sd card for?
what are the advantages of the sd card?
is it being use by the router?
is the sd card there to boost performance or provide more ram and bandwidth for the router?
or it just works like other storage device such as a USB flach drive?
the sd card does not do any good to the router but stores data for the users only?

vicket made a modded version of Tomato with these features. There are a few other Tomato custom modes with similar additional feature sets.

This mod doesnt work with Tomato if it did I would be using it rather than DDWRT for stability

@Victek2007 Not to mention how much more stable Tomato is now compared to DD-WRT.
