@ohm4 God cares about everything... He wants your relationship with Him to grow and if sin keeps re-occurring... it is very hard for your relationship with Him to deepen.

@Passiflora101 Satan tempted them with evil... and their original sin led to the fall... their desire to gain knowledge is the same desire we seek today in a sinful manner... we seek power etc...
