WOW!! Over 100,000 views! Thanks everybody!!

PLEASE VISIT MY NEW SITE: www.mixmethods.com

This is a simple walk-through on how to create a great sounding basic instrumental song without much for music gear, and get it done in one night!

My interface is an M-audio Omnistudio USB. It's an older model, but works like a charm, I've had it for quite a few years.

My mics are a Studio Projects C1 and Nady SD condensers.

  • Ok would you say something like logic is the most accessible im looking for a DAW that lets you record your live instruments into it as well as use some cool plug ins synths dirty bass sounds etc...???? Looking for something relatively easy to use....

  • @deftonesfan192 Logic would definitely allow you to do these things, however, if you are a mac user, you might find GarageBand easier to jump into at first. If you use PC, you might want to try a version of Cakewalk Sonar.

  • your eyes look black as night

  • Yeah, the lighting was so weird.. I also have a crazy beard and hair in that vid.. haha.

  • THANK YOU

  • Hey man, great song! Just got me a 15" MacBook Pro. What kind of interface would you recommend? I would eventually like to record my drummer too. I would need a interface with more than just one or two inputs right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • are you ever going to release that song???!!! i'd love to download it it sounds sooooo nice :) :)

  • this sounds really great! I like it.

  • @deehoop209 No offense but if you're asking these kind of questions you should know the answers. Buffer and sample rates aren't what someone should learn straight away.
