No-one, but no-one can sing this song like Leontyne can. Its a heavenly sound and I can always think of that first Christmas which must have had angels singing pretty much like this!
I'm sharing this version of O Holy Night this Christmas on facebook in celebration of my 1st year of bicycle riding, Nov. 1969 - Nov. 1970 (since I returned to bike riding this year back in March after unfortunately being forced off back in Oct1997) when I was 6 years old. Price's version is heavenly & was always the version I looked forward to so much to hear on Christmas Eve & that 1st year I rode a bike I had to stop riding to listen to this whenever anyone played it in their car or home.

It's beautiful. It's also a great pity that the lyrics don't reflect some real aspects of our tragic existence instead of the infantile perceptions of a bunch of camel jockeys from the deserts of Arabia 2000 years ago.
Hearing this is enough in itself to keep us from regretting our birth. On the other hand, there's Paul McCartney singing Wonderful Christmas time reminds us that Kathryn Elizabeth Pease's baby boy didn't learn much about good decision making.
E flat, which makes the high note B flat
