Minor Sweeps

Me playing a minor sweep on my guitar. Nothing flashy, just wanted to share it.

Do you have any tips for picking technique? My upstrokes are perfect when it comes to sweep picking but my downstrokes are messy as fuck for some reason.

You have propably heard some of this before, but try practicing to a metronome, very slowly first, until you get that down COMPLETELY, NO MISTAKES. Move up with about 5 bpm everytime you nail something completely clean and airtight, that should do the job. You can find online metronomes using google, by the way. Hope it helps!

@varulv234 Thanks man. I think its the way I angle the pick though. I kinda have it at an angle where my knuckles kinda poin upwardst in my direction, which is great for my upstrokes, but it screws up my downstrokes. I'll have to try that metronome thing along with correcting my angling.
