This video is from the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in western Nevada. Ash Meadows is home to several endemic species, including the Ash Meadows Amargosa Pupfish. This tiny fish is faces many threats in its desert spring habitat, including introduced species of fish and crayfish. This video was shot during the annual convention of the North American Native Fishes Association in October 2010.
