  • off the chain, once again you go gurrl !

  • and this is what you call TRUE talent and being able to sing live with a band and sound exactly off of the album. she didnt miss a beat

  • yes i remember sinbad and his shows..i was only 9 but would sneak off downstairs to watch it..him and arsenio hall need to come back with their shows

  • I miss her so much.......i'm just a fan. But Teena's been in my live since 1979......her music is the background for the timeline of my loves and lifetime. I love you Teena Marie. I bought every single one of your albums/ CD's and i worship you and your memory, my sister............

  • RIP love her

  • Baddest white girl to come down the Pike. She got Soul Power!!!

  • This was one bad ass white woman! She had such soul, and her music reflected that- Teena Marie, may God rest you and keep you.

We shall never see your like again. Your music shall last forever........

  • YEA!!!!! TINA...OMG you R so missed!!!! One of a kind talent!

  • RAMONIA below said DAMN, DAMN, DAMN. That's exactly what I said many more times when I saw R.I.P. I was just recalling RICK JAMES gone. But I'd last seen TEENA MARIE retired in her home with her children on TV. But I didn't know that! TEENA was at that time, when SOUL was becoming ROCK maintaining musical organization! You could feel it, you could hear it. and you'd appreciate it. Musical skills derived more from BLUES, SOUL Education & Schooling, than ROCK!

  • Props to Teena Marie "Lady T" Brockert (R.I.P.)...and YoYo (...but i expected her background harmonies to be tighter, especially since she was such an awesome vocalist)
