  • Do you know how they did this sound? Was the sound digitized. Did they use a special synth?

I love the end of the music. I remember trying to understand how they did the fade out...

Also, I love C64 tunes, I had one, and also an Amiga....

  • @lboymusic I always wanted to know how Follin did it, the Z80 sound beeper only had one channel so for Tim to make 6 things happen at once with it was an incredible feat, but how he managed it honestly your guess is as good as mine. =)

  • Hi,

this was my favorite spectrum music as long with trantor :)

  • @lboymusic This is an amazing tune, Follin was a genius and tunes like this show off his masterclass.

  • Never heard of this at all but the tune is pretty good, though it has its "off" parts lol

  • @atrumdiabolus I've always said this, the only way you are gonna enjoy tunes like these is that you know and love Tim Follin's music. The guy was insanely awesome! He made a lot of great music over the years!

  • @neocortexlab P.S> Of course all this works only becouse speakers has its own inertia and mass. Also ear membrane has inertia and mass. The strict in-out command pool for such a sound is of course... 1-bit square pulse wave. =)

  • @Otouto72 I am ex-programmer of Speccy from Russia. So excuse my horrible english. =) The main idea is to move your speaker membrane in and out so fast that it cant do full move in or out. Combining in-out command enough fast the program do membrane pulsating much more complex than 1-bit square wave can do. So listening this on low-mid-range speakers is more preferable than on high-range. Also you can listen high-frequency splashes and noise which is side effect of this audio-technology. =)
