I concure 150 merc inline 6's were a torqy motor had one for 8 years no issue but allways changed w/p impeller every season

Mercury's inline 6 motor was one of there Greatest outboards EVERY built. Nothing wrong with the water pumps as long as there change every year

Never own a an in line 6 cyl merc. I had one on my boat and it lasted all of 45 seconds. Too much trouble with water pumps on these and that create big problem$

I got a 21 pitch Brass 2 Blade prop u could try out, not enough pitch for my 70.had alot of stern lift, Not enough bow lift

whut prop u runnin??? whut differnt motor are ya think of too put on it

i think its 18"-19" its just the work prop that came with it. we've looked at other props, have a 23" on it, didnt help it at all though for top end speeds. where thinking 60hp-70hp

90 hp merc, but its a beast, it takes off so fast, hurts ur neck but not good at top end speeds, and i cant get it on the forks upfront cause the weight at the back
